Do yourself a favor: Email efficiency
One of my goals of 2011 to work less hours but more efficiently (4 hour work week http://bit.ly/flqh4v).
My previous solution for email was my work exchange account and my personal me.com accounts both in the Mac Mail app (I tried the new outlook for mac and it was slow and had a bunch of unnecessary options so I happily went back to Mac Mail). This worked great except for sifting through the deluge of 50-100 shitty emails every morning. Not spam but what google calls bologna. I have pointed my me.com to gmail and am doing all personal email from the gmail site (re learning keyboard shortcuts http://bit.ly/hti0R1) and taking advantage of the priority inbox feature. I love it.
I also setup two smart folders in Mac Mail (work exchange email) one for Unread message and one for Flagged messages that I need to follow up on. (how to setup smart folders http://bit.ly/eaLtAD)
